EN AW 5083

Level Cast 50 is a cast and subsequently milled product with a minimal planarity tolerance and a thickness tolerance that's half of the EN tolerances for normal rolled plates.

Furthermore, in order to ensure maximum protection, both faces are protected with 2-sided 100 micron laser PVC film. Used for the production of precision mechanical components that require minimal planarity.

The main characteristic that distinguishes this alloy from rolled products is its high degree of dimensional stability both during and after processing. 
Level cast 50 was developed to replace 5083 rolled in cases where planarity and formal stability are of greater importance.

Custom cuts can be made using a belt or circular saw upon request; the following services are also available:

  • Creation of specially designed plates;
  • Creation of special profiles using water cutting technology;
  • Circular saw cutting and finishing;
