EN AW 6060

The alloy 6060 is available in small round and square plates, tubes, and L and U-shaped tubular profiles.

This ideal alloy for tubes and tubular profiles is particularly suitable for construction applications involving curtain walls, doors and windows, for interior design applications involving prefabricated partitions and decorations, as well as for a wide range of applications in the terrestrial and marine transport industries.

Excellent extrudability. An alloy of medium hardness that's ideal for difficult extrusions. High resistance to corrosion. Good formability. Good surface finishing and an excellent aptitude for anodisation. Good weldability.

Availability

The alloy 6060 is available in small round and square plates, tubes, and L and U-shaped tubular profiles. This alloy is ideal for custom designed profiles. Alloy 6060 is available extruded based on the EN tolerances. Other tolerances and formats are available upon request.
